“The Crisis” is the new post photography collection by Wubbushi. It represents a modern approach in the evolution of spiritual iconography in art history, showcasing the unique perspective that AI brings to the art form. Mirroring the fractured ethos of the postmodern era, it redefines religious imagery to reflect the disjointed reality and the broken spirituality in today’s society.
The Crisis is a collection of 150 pieces minted on the Ethereum blockchain. The images are Raw Ai, generated at an unprecedented 8,000,000 pixels, using 100 to 150 steps with Euler A as the sampling method, and a Stable Diffusion XL - LoRA model that was created specifically and exclusively for this collection.
The collection will be launching on January 31st 2024, at .01 eth per piece. Royalties are set at 0%.
These images were created on a custom built Stable Diffusion browser based platform, running a p3dn.24xlarge instance hosted on Amazon AWS. This server has 8, Tesla V100 GPU’s and 768GB of memory. On average, each image from this collection required approximately 30 minutes to render. Thousands of images were generated, to allow for a final curation of this 200 piece collection. Total GPU equivalent processing time was nearly a year to generate this collection.

About the artist
Wubbushi is an emerging cult artist creating art through collaboration with other humans and non-human intelligences.
He is known for his innovative projects that utilize AI to push the boundaries of what is possible.
In his ‘Megapixels’ process, he creates large format paintings by combining over 500 mini artworks into a master portrait. To make this possible, he created 300,000 individual artworks from over 10,000 unique prompts, using a custom built API for Dall-e.
His ‘Imposters’ series combine many separate ai images into cohesive paintings on physical canvases.
He had a rapid rise in the NFT and AI art space after his genesis on February 2023, and since he has over 200 collectors.
Experimenting with different techniques, he is quickly becoming a pioneer on AI driven ideation and image making. He is currently training multiple custom AI models for his upcoming collections and also preparing his first physical gallery show for 2024.
